Jennifer Biddle

Dr. Jennifer Biddle is Senior Research Fellow and Director of Visual Anthropology at the Centre for Contemporary Art and Politics (CCAP), National Institute of Experimental Art (NIEA), UNSW, Sydney, AUSTRALIA. She has worked with Lajamanu Warlpiri for over two decades and writes on language, translation, art and emotion. Her most recent monograph is breasts, bodies, canvas: Central Desert art as Experience (UNSW Press 2007). She is currently ARC Future Fellow for her project entitled Remote Avant-garde: experimental Indigenous arts.
